Welcome to The Harry Files....a little corner of the net where I am safe to adore all that is Harry Potter. The following pages will take you through my own obsession with Harry and his universe, and maybe satisfy a little of your obsession too! Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time to spend so my pages are anything but extensive. However, happily, there are others who have spent much time and knowledge on thier own webpages that do go into a lot of detail. I don't need or want to duplicate their pages, so I have a lot of Links that will take you to the differing areas of the Harry Potter webiverse (web universe). I usually have these links plainly marked so that you'll know when you leave my pages. One hint is that my Harry Files graphics will no longer surround the page, and another window will usually open. I cannot be responsible for what you'll find on the other pages, though I try not to link to anything that is not G rated.

I fell in love with Harry before most of the publicity started over Rowling's books. I was working for Library Services at the time and a complaint had come through about child abuse in the books. I read the first one to see if I could find out what the parent had been complaining about. I knew then that this was going to be one of my favorite books of all time. I went out that very night to buy it. The third book had just been published and I cajoled my mom into buying all three, but she made me wait until Christmas to have them! I had to spend a few hours in lament that I am not able to say I was obssessed from the publishing date of the first book, but at least I got to start obssessing before anyone I know. And I didn't have this agonizing wait for the next book to come! At any rate I commenced haranguing my family until they agreed to read the books too, and eventually, I pushed almost everyone around me into reading and loving Harry almost as much as I do.

Well, I'd like to say that anyone could look at these pages, but that's not true. If you haven't read the books, then some things probably won't make too much sense to you. I am making no effort to explain them, because if you haven't read the books, you probably aren't reading this page anyway. And if you are, be warned: there a MAJOR spoilers on most of my pages. Why? Because I want to expostulate about my feelings on the series. My pages, my priviledge (grin). Enjoy!
